Abandoned Housing Rehabilitation Act
- 310 ILCS 50/1— This Act shall be known and may be cited as the Abandoned Housing Rehabilitation Act
- 310 ILCS 50/2— Definitions
- 310 ILCS 50/3— Petition for temporary possession
- 310 ILCS 50/4— The proceeding shall be commenced by filing a verified petition in the circuit court in the county in which the property is located
- 310 ILCS 50/5— If the court approves the petition, the court shall enter an order approving the rehabilitation plan and granting temporary possession of the property to the organization
- 310 ILCS 50/6— The organization shall file an annual report in relation to the rehabilitation and use of the property
- 310 ILCS 50/7— The owner shall be entitled to regain possession of the property by petitioning to the circuit court for restoration of possession and, upon due notice to the plaintiff organization, for a hearing on such petition
