Upon receipt of such notice, the Child Protective Service Unit shall take similar action in regard to the local child abuse and neglect index and shall inform, for the same purpose, any other individuals or agencies which received such record under this Act or in any other manner. Nothing in this Section is intended to require the destruction of case records.

To the fullest extent possible, written notice of any amendment, expunction, or removal of any record made under this Act shall be served upon each subject of such report and the appropriate Child Protective Service Unit
