The index shall include the information contained in the initial, progress, and final reports required under this Act, and any other appropriate information. For purposes of this Section "child abuse and neglect" includes abuse or neglect of an adult resident as defined in this Act.

The Child Protective Service Unit shall maintain a local child abuse and neglect index of all cases reported under this Act which will enable it to determine the location of case records and to monitor the timely and proper investigation and disposition of cases
Known as the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act
The act spans §§ 325-5-1 to 325-5-9-1 (66 sections).
