35 ILCS 135/34

It is unlawful for a person to act in this State as the agent or representative of a distributor who does not maintain a place of business in this State unless such distributor is the holder of a permit issued pursuant to Section 7 of this Act

Known as the Cigarette Use Tax Act

The act spans §§ 35-135-1 to 35-135-9 (55 sections).

Any person who violates this provision is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. Each and every day any such person so acts shall constitute a separate offense.
