Real estate in civil townships

Known as the Real Estate Transfer Tax Law

The act spans §§ 35-200-31-1 to 35-200-31-70 (17 sections).

If the real estate described in the deed is located in a civil township, the recorder or registrar of titles shall transmit a copy of the declaration to the township or multi-township assessor for that township. This Section does not apply to any county having an elected county assessor.
