To make an annual financial report for each fiscal year ended June 30. A copy of the report shall be transmitted to the State Board of Education. The report of the retirement system shall contain a summary of the fiscal transactions for the preceding fiscal year, the amount of the accumulated cash and securities, and a balance sheet indicating the system's financial condition by means of an actuarial valuation.
