To determine the length of prior service from such information as is available. Any such determination shall be conclusive as to any such period of service, unless the board reconsiders the case and changes the determination. The change to this Section made by this amendatory Act of the 91st General Assembly applies without regard to whether the individual is in service on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act.
