However, if the definition of "responsible relative" in this Act is in conflict with the definition of "responsible relative" in any Federal statute and rules or regulations thereunder, under which the recipient or client is otherwise eligible to receive benefits, the definition of the Federal Act, rules, or regulations shall prevail.
