(a) A crematory authority shall be permitted to enter into a contract with a funeral director or funeral business for the purpose of arranging cremations on an at-need basis with the general public, transporting human remains to the crematory, and processing all necessary paperwork. (b) No aspect of this Act shall be construed to require a licensed funeral director to perform any functions not otherwise required by law to be performed by a licensed funeral director.
