No person shall sell or offer for sale eggs or egg products for human consumption that are unfit for human food. For the purpose of this Act, an egg or egg product is unfit for human food if it is classified as an inedible egg or loss egg or, in the case of an egg product, it is adulterated, unwholesome, non-inspected, or otherwise unfit for human consumption. Eggs from a hazardous-disease-infected flock shall be diverted to egg breaking plants for pasteurization only.
