Findings

Known as the Wipes Labeling Act

The act spans §§ 415-165-1 to 415-165-99 (10 sections).

P.A. 102-286, eff. 7-1-22.

The General Assembly finds that creating labeling standards for disposable wipes products will protect public health, the environment, water quality, and public infrastructure used for the collection, transport, and treatment of wastewater. It is not the intent of the General Assembly to address standards for flushability with this Act.
