Litter Control Act
- 415 ILCS 105/1— This Act shall be known and may be cited as the "Litter Control Act"

- 415 ILCS 105/3— As used in this Act, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) "Litter" means any discarded, used or unconsumed substance or waste

- 415 ILCS 105/7— No person shall abandon a motor vehicle on any highway, on any public property or on any private property of which he is not the owner or tenant in lawful possession in this State
- 415 ILCS 105/8— Persons who violate any of Sections 4 through 7 are subject to the penalties set out in this Section
- 415 ILCS 105/9— Whenever litter is thrown, deposited, dropped or dumped from any motor vehicle not carrying passengers for hire, the presumption is created that the operator of that motor vehicle has violated Section 5, but that presumption may be rebutted

- 415 ILCS 105/11— This Act shall be enforced by all law enforcement officers in their respective jurisdictions, whether employed by the State or by any unit of local government

- 415 ILCS 105/14— This Act takes effect January 1, 1974
