Apartment Fire Instruction Act
- 425 ILCS 5/0.01— Short title
- 425 ILCS 5/1— (a) As used in this Act, "high-rise apartment building" means any multiple unit dwelling with more than 3 levels above street level
- 425 ILCS 5/2— All owners of multiple dwellings and high-rise apartment buildings are required to permanently post within each dwelling unit instructions explaining what procedures to use in the event of a fire
- 425 ILCS 5/3— Any owner who does not comply with the provisions of the Act shall be guilty of a petty offense
