Establishment

Known as the Illinois Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act

The act spans §§ 430-100-1 to 430-100-9 (19 sections).

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency shall be the State Emergency Response Commission for the purpose of implementing the provisions of Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (P.L. 99-499) at the State level, and shall perform all the functions of a SERC under that Act. The Director of the IEMA shall be the Chairman of the SERC.
