New boilers and pressure vessels

Known as the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety Act

The act spans §§ 430-75-1 to 430-75-9 (20 sections).

A boiler or pressure vessel that does not conform to the rules and regulations formulated by the Board governing new construction and installation shall not be installed and operated in this State unless the boiler or pressure vessel is of special design or construction and is not inconsistent with the spirit and safety objectives of the rules and regulations, in which case a special installation and operating permit may at its discretion be granted by the Board.
