Construction

Known as the Public Official Safety and Privacy Act

The act spans §§ 5-347-1 to 5-347-999 (16 sections).

P.A. 104-443, eff. 1-1-26.

(a) This Act and any rules adopted to implement this Act shall be construed broadly to favor the protection of the personal information of public officials. (b) Nothing in this Act is intended to limit the remedies available under any other law, including the Civil Liability for Doxing Act.
