Adlai Stevenson Day

Known as the State Commemorative Dates Act

February 5 of each year is designated as Adlai Stevenson Day, to be observed throughout the State as a day to remember and honor the legacy of public service of Adlai Stevenson II (1900-1965), Governor of Illinois and United States Ambassador to the United Nations.
