Purple Heart Day

Known as the State Commemorative Dates Act

The act spans §§ 5-490-1 to 5-490-95 (76 sections).

P.A. 97-258, eff. 1-1-12.

The 7th day of August of each year is designated Purple Heart Day to be observed as a day to honor and remember those who have been wounded or killed in battle.
