Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Month

Known as the State Commemorative Dates Act

The act spans §§ 5-490-1 to 5-490-95 (76 sections).

The month of November in each year is designated as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Month to be observed throughout the State as a month for the people of Illinois to support efforts to decrease the prevalence of COPD, develop better treatments, and work toward an eventual cure through increased research, treatment, and prevention.
