Sweet Corn Appreciation Day

Known as the State Commemorative Dates Act

The act spans §§ 5-490-1 to 5-490-95 (76 sections).

August 1 of each year is designated as Sweet Corn Appreciation Day, to be observed throughout the State as a day to celebrate the importance of sweet corn to Illinois agriculture, and in recognition of family farmers.
