Except where the context indicates otherwise, in any rule, contract, or other document a reference to a developmentally disabled person or a similar reference shall be considered a reference to a person with a developmental disability and a reference to the developmentally disabled or a similar reference shall be considered a reference to persons with developmental disabilities. The use of either "developmentally disabled" or "developmental disability" or "the developmentally disabled" or "persons with developmental disabilities" shall not invalidate any rule, contract, or other document.
