"Local governmental agency," as used in this Act, means and includes county, township, city, village, incorporated town, and any special municipal corporation such as, but not limited to, a school district, community college district, park district, mosquito abatement district, airport authority, fire protection district, public health district, river conservancy district, drainage district, sanitary district and any other such special district and includes a multiple-county health department established pursuant to Division 5-25 of the Counties Code.
