50 ILCS 205/11

Known as the Local Records Act

The act spans §§ 50-205-1 to 50-205-9 (21 sections).

Both Commissions with the assistance of the Secretary of State and State Archivist, shall establish a system for the protection and preservation of essential local records necessary for the continuity of governmental functions in the event of emergency arising from enemy action or natural disaster and for the reestablishment of local government thereafter.
