Violations

Known as the Fire Department Promotion Act

(a) A person who knowingly divulges or receives test questions or answers before a written examination, or otherwise knowingly violates or subverts any requirement of this Act commits a violation of this Act and may be subject to charges for official misconduct. (b) A person who is the knowing recipient of test information in advance of the examination shall be disqualified from the promotion examination or demoted from the rank to which he was promoted, as applicable and otherwise subjected to disciplinary actions.
