Flood Damage Prevention Act
- 50 ILCS 815/0.01— Short title
- 50 ILCS 815/1— Any county or municipality which has the power to issue building permits and otherwise control the construction of buildings may adopt the provisions of this Act
- 50 ILCS 815/2— Any county or municipality may, by ordinance, adopt requirements that all applications for building permits contain a statement that such buildings and appurtenances connected therewith include facilities for the orderly runoff or retention of rain and melting snow
- 50 ILCS 815/3— The ordinance provided for in Section 2 shall not be adopted unless it shall have been published 3 times, at weekly intervals, in a newspaper having general circulation published in such county or municipality and a public hearing has been held
- 50 ILCS 815/4— Such ordinance may be amended from time to time, but the hearing and publication requirements of Section 3 shall be adopted prior to such amendment
- 50 ILCS 815/5— This Act does not apply to any home rule unit
