Sanitation Monitored. All poultry breeding flocks and hatcheries that produce hatching eggs, chicks or poults for table egg production for interstate and intrastate movement must meet with U.S. Sanitation Monitored requirements under the National Poultry Improvement Plan. The monitoring procedure must contain a provision for table egg production hatcheries to detect Salmonella enteritidis, serotype enteritidis.
