Illinois Endangered Species Protection Act

  • 520 ILCS 10/1— This Act shall be known and may be cited as the "Illinois Endangered Species Protection Act"
  • 520 ILCS 10/2— As used in this Act the following words have the following meanings: "Board" means the Endangered Species Protection Board created by this Act

  • 520 ILCS 10/7— Any species or subspecies of animal or plant designated as endangered or threatened by the Secretary of the Interior of the United States pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, P.L

  • 520 ILCS 10/9— Any person who violates any provision of this Act shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor
  • 520 ILCS 10/10— The Endangered and Threatened Species Program shall be located within the Department
  • 520 ILCS 10/11— Conservation program; public policy; rules
