If any such person or corporation shall fail to comply with the provisions of this section, he shall, for every day such list is not posted up, forfeit $10 to the county.

Every person or corporation owning or operating any toll bridge, shall keep a list of the legal rates of toll, printed or written in a legible hand, constantly posted up in some public place, at or near the toll gate, or place where toll is collected
