(a) Except as otherwise provided in this Act, a person who violates any of the provisions of this Act is guilty of a Class C misdemeanor. (b) A person who violates subsection (B) of Section 5-1 of this Act is guilty of a Class B misdemeanor. (c) A person who violates Section 2-4 or Section 5-7.3 of this Act is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
