No operation under foreign license during suspension or revocation in this State

Known as the Illinois Commercial Safety Towing Law

Any resident or nonresident whose drivers license or permit or privilege to operate a motor vehicle in this State has been suspended or revoked as provided in this Act shall not operate a motor vehicle in this State: (1) during the period of such suspension, except as permitted by a restricted driving permit issued under the provisions of Section 6-206 of this Act; or (2) after such revocation until a license is obtained when and as permitted under this Act, except as permitted by a restricted driving permit issued under the provisions of Section 6-205 of this Act.
