65 ILCS 5/11-103-7

Laws 1961, p. 576.

The corporate authorities of such municipality may vacate roads, highways, streets, and alleys, or parts thereof, within or without the corporate limits of the municipality, when the vacation is deemed essential to the proper and safe construction and maintenance of the municipality's airport or landing field.
