65 ILCS 5/11-114.1-1

The corporate authority of a municipality which is subject to the hazards of flooding due to the existence within or near its borders of a natural waterway shall prominently post copies of the most recent Flood Insurance Rate Maps, issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, in the municipal hall. At least once every 5 years, the corporate authority shall replace each posted map with the most recently issued map.
