65 ILCS 5/3.1-25-30

Petition of candidacy

P.A. 87-1119.

The petition in the nomination papers shall contain a number of signatures of electors residing within the same village as the candidate equal to at least 1% of the total vote cast at the last preceding election in the village for president. The petition shall be in substantially the form provided in the general election law.
