Public Comfort Stations in Municipalities of Less Than 100,000
- 65 ILCS 5/11-21-1— The corporate authorities of every municipality with a population of less than 100,000 may provide for the establishment, equipment, and maintenance of public comfort stations
- 65 ILCS 5/11-21-2— "Public comfort station" means an institution where waiting rooms, rest rooms, toilet rooms for men and women, lavatories, check rooms, drinking water, and similar facilities are freely available for the convenience of the public
- 65 ILCS 5/11-21-3— In establishing, equipping, and maintaining public comfort stations the municipality specified in Section 11-21-1 may construct, purchase, lease, or accept donations of ground sites, buildings, rooms, and the necessary equipment, and may employ necessary attendants
