Compensation of Officers
- 65 ILCS 5/4-6-1— The mayor and each commissioner shall have an office at the municipal building or rooms, and shall devote such time to the duties of their respective offices as a faithful discharge thereof may require
- 65 ILCS 5/4-6-2— All officers and employees, except those specified in Section 4-6-1, shall receive the salary or compensation which the council shall provide by ordinance, resolution, or motion, payable monthly or at such shorter periods as the council may determine
