70 ILCS 1205/9-2d

A park district in counties with a population of less than 200,000 inhabitants may sell or lease park district property to a hospital provided that prior to such transaction: (1) a public hearing on the issue is held after one notice is given in a newspaper of general circulation in the park district at least 7 days before the meeting; and (2) the value of the property sought to be sold or leased is determined by 2 independent appraisals.
