70 ILCS 1545/17

This Act shall not affect the powers of the park district to acquire, lay out, establish, construct and maintain public parks under "An Act in relation to the creation, maintenance, operation and improvement of the Chicago Park District," approved July 10, 1933, as amended

Known as the Chicago Park and City Exchange of Functions Act

In respect to parks acquired by the park district after the effective date, the city and park district shall jointly plan the layout and location of boulevards therein for purposes of vehicular traffic, wherever the same may be necessary, and may enter into agreements for the assumption or division of the costs incident to such layout, location and construction. The park district will dedicate such boulevards and driveways which shall be under the control and jurisdiction of the city as provided in Section 2.
