70 ILCS 1810/6

Known as the Illinois International Port District Act

The act spans §§ 70-1810-1 to 70-1810-9-03 (37 sections).

Unless and until the revenues from operations conducted by the Port District are adequate to meet all expenditures or unless and until otherwise determined by act of the General Assembly, the Port District shall not incur any obligations for salaries, office or administrative expenses prior to the making of appropriations to meet such expenses.
