70 ILCS 2205/11

All ordinances making any appropriation, shall within one month after they have been passed, be published at least once in a newspaper published in such district, in each of the counties in which the same is situate; and no such ordinance shall take effect until ten days after it is so published

Known as the Sanitary District Act

The act spans §§ 70-2205-0-01 to 70-2805-93 (330 sections).

All other ordinances, orders and resolutions shall become effective from and after their passage, unless otherwise provided therein.
