(a) No disciplinary action shall be taken by the Authority against an employee in any case involving the disclosure of information by an employee that a reasonable individual believes concerns the following: (1) a violation of any law, rule, or regulation; or (2) mismanagement, a gross waste of funds, an abuse of authority, or a substantial and specific danger to public health or safety. (b) Violation of this Section shall be a petty offense.
