70 ILCS 3615/3A.08

Any public transportation by bus within the metropolitan region, other than public transportation by commuter rail or public transportation provided by the Chicago Transit Authority pursuant to agreements in effect on the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1983 or in the City of Chicago and any ADA paratransit services provided pursuant to Section 2.30 of the Regional Transportation Authority Act, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Suburban Bus Board. The Suburban Bus Board shall have jurisdiction to provide public transportation by bus and ADA paratransit services within the metropolitan region.
