70 ILCS 705/1.04

Whenever a county clerk or other election authority places upon a ballot the question of creating or altering a fire protection district, such clerk or other election authority shall notify the Office of the State Fire Marshal that such a proposition is to be put before the electorate

Known as the Fire Protection District Act

The act spans §§ 70-705-0-01 to 70-705-9 (123 sections).

Such notice shall be sent to the Office of the State Fire Marshal within 10 working days after the question is certified to the clerk or other election authority.
