70 ILCS 905/9

When the proposition is submitted to the voters of 2 or more adjacent towns or road districts, the ballots shall be counted, and the returns made to the county clerk of the county wherein the petition was filed as in the case of returns to the county clerk at a general election

Known as the Public Health District Act

The act spans §§ 70-905-0-01 to 70-905-9 (29 sections).

The returns shall be opened and canvassed by the county canvassing board and the result declared.
