Creation of District

Known as the Roseland Community Medical District Act

The act spans §§ 70-935-1 to 70-935-999 (19 sections).

P.A. 97-259, eff. 8-5-11.

There is created a medical center district, the Roseland Community Medical District, whose boundaries are West 110th Street on the North from South Stewart Avenue on the West to South Michigan Avenue on the East and West 112th Street and East 112th Street on the South. The District is created to attract and retain academic centers of excellence, viable health care facilities, medical research facilities, emerging high technology enterprises, and other facilities and uses as permitted by this Act.
