The acknowledgment or proof of any deed, mortgage, conveyance, power of attorney, or other writing of or relating to the sale, conveyance, or other disposition of lands or real estate, or any interest therein, by a married person, may be made and certified the same as if that person was unmarried, and shall have the same effect.
