770 ILCS 60/18

Whatever right or estate such owner had in the land at the time of making the contract may be sold in the same manner as other sales of real estate are made under orders of court

Known as the Mechanics Lien Act

The act spans §§ 770-60-0-01 to 770-60-9 (44 sections).

If any part of the premises can be separated from the residue, and sold without damage to the whole, and if the value thereof is sufficient to satisfy all the claims proved in the cause, the court may order a sale of that part.
