Any person, as defined under this Act, violating any provision of this Act except breach of contract, upon conviction for the first offense, is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor

Known as the Credit Services Organizations Act

The act spans §§ 815-605-1 to 815-605-9 (16 sections).

Upon conviction of a second or subsequent offense the violator is guilty of a Class 4 felony.
