Known as the Child Labor Law

The General Assembly finds that minors engaged in work are deserving of enhanced workplace protections. It is the intent of the General Assembly, in enacting this Child Labor Law of 2024, to safeguard all working minors' health, safety, welfare, and access to education and the provisions of this Act shall be interpreted to provide the greatest protection of a minor's well-being.
