Confidentiality and privacy

Known as the Workplace Violence Prevention Act

The act spans §§ 820-275-1 to 820-275-95 (28 sections).

The employer shall keep all information relating to a workplace protection restraining order in the strictest confidence, limiting information only to those employees who have a current demonstrable interest related to the safety of the employee who has suffered the violence.
