Sec. 212.5. (a) "Solvolysis" means a manufacturing process:
(1) through which post-use polymers are purified with the aid of solvents while:
(A) heated at low temperatures;
(B) pressurized; or
(C) heated at low temperatures and pressurized;
allowing the removal of additives and contaminants; and
(2) resulting in the following products:
(A) Monomers.
(B) Intermediates.
(C) Valuable chemicals.
(D) Plastics.
(E) Chemical feedstocks.
(F) Raw materials.
(b) The process includes:
(1) hydrolysis;
(2) aminolysis;
(3) ammonoloysis;
(4) methanolysis; and
(5) glycolysis.
